12th Planet
12th Planet
Like the mythological 12th Planet (popularized by controversial author Zecharia Sitchin), our 12th Planet flies perpendicular to the system. His beats are off axis and his subsonic frequencies send you into your own orbit. America's first king of dubstep is ready for impact.
Rekoil is a Maryland based producer with a fresh take on bass music. Combining his robotic dubstep and hip-hop influences, you can count on him to serve up the unique palette that you didn’t know your ears were craving: a sound best described as, “Mech-Hop.” His releases via Firepower Records, Rottun Recordings, and Uplink Audio at such a young age are a testament not only to what this producer is capable of, but also to the fact that there’s a bright future ahead of him. Rekoil is out to constantly prove that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Algo the 20 year old Baltimore native has been on the come up for the past 5 years. He picked up drums at the young age of 14, and decided he wanted to further his ability to create full pieces of music by purchasing his first software. Having sustained injuries during his past career path in extreme sports he was layed up for 6 months with nothing but song ideas bouncing around in his head.Once healed up Algo then went on to try his hand at live performances by playing all sorts of various underground house parties and club shows in the heart of Baltimore city with the intention of paving his own sound of club standard music. Soon after he started making a name for himself by collaborating with fellow heavy hitting producers such as Getter, Trollphace, Dubloadz, and Jphelpz, he has truly started to find his own unique style and use it to his full advantage. One key element that he has always strived for is versatility, whether it be in his studio productions or live performances…he always aims to keep you on your toes with the next release. With music taste ranging from one end of the spectrum to the other...you never really know what you're going to get!
Toy Maka
Drum & Bass, House, Garage, and Dubstep ToyMaka can play them all and does. After 7 years of DJing he's stronger than ever and continues to play out frequently in the Baltimore/ DC electronic music scene.
With over 15 years of experience spinning Drum and Bass, Droosie is not an act to be missed. He's supported major acts including Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Noisia, Pendulum, Rudimental, and many more at venues across the US.
He brings positive energy to a crowd with a unique blend of drum and bass. No matter what they're looking to hear - no particular sound is off limits.
With the close of 2016, be on the lookout for Droosie in many more shows and festivals in the coming months.
Hugeative is a global producer. He has lived in London, Tokyo, DC and Baltimore with his eyes always set on traveling the world and discovering new musical influences. His heavy hitting and unique take on bass music has earned him a spot on Datsik’s Firepower Records with releases regularly charting in the Beatport Top 100. He has shared the stage with the likes of Funtcase, Downlink, Must Die!, Megalodon, Truth, JPhelpz, Bommer and collaborated with many other heavyweights in the bass music scene around the world. With a brand new EP forthcoming on Firepower Records and ambitious plans for global bass domination, Hugeative is an act you won’t want to miss.
Cesar "Sayzar" Diaz is a Baltimore native expanded who expanded his mind with influences such as Datsik, Bare Noize, Trolley Snatcha, Caspa, Emalkay, Funtcase, Cookie Monsta, Truth, Megalodon, JKenzo, and Biome. Has huge inspiration also from his dear friends Barron, Rekoil, Algo and Curro. This music enthusiast has attended many shows from little basement venues to summer festivals, he knows what a crowd likes and wants to hear. Sayzar is energetic and charismatic on stage as if hearing it for the first time!
Getting his start in Baltimore, Maryland, Curro started his career playing shows up and down the eastern seaboard. Sharing the stage with EDM powerhouses like Zeds Dead, Excision, Doctor P, Zomboy and Yellow Claw to name a few. After playing countless shows as a support act for big headliners, he wanted to take his career to the next level. He than applied for the prestigious Icon Collective music production school in the summer of 2015. In the fall of 2015, he was accepted to the school and made the move to the west coast to start his new chapter as Curro. Now residing in Los Angeles, a new city breathes inspiration for the east coast native. He has been taking in the LA music culture to the fullest extent. Gaining new inspiration to create cutting edge bass music, the producer/DJ has been working hard in the studio to bring good music to the club and festival culture. Already being supported by Ghastly and Helicopter Showdown, this young producer is on his way to being a staple in the electronic dance music culture.
