Modestep is a bass-infused band formed in London. Influenced by the strong presence of both rock and underground bass music in the capital, they created a gap in both the rock and electronic worlds which allowed them to stand out from every other act on the bill. The band took the world by storm in 2011 with their track ‘Sunlight’ which was an instant chart and radio hit. After nearing 10 years of touring, their live act has taken them to almost every major city on the planet, including headlining to an extraordinary 750,000 strong crowd. Now two albums deep, with over 200 million YouTube views under the belt and an all-new revised and refined line-up, the band look to 2018 to release their most anticipated record yet.

With 5 consecutive Beatport number 1s, over six million streams in the last 12 months off the back of their lively social media interaction, and collaborations and remixes for Zomboy, Datsik, SKisM, Excision, Destroid, Astronaut, Getter and more under their belt, few can deny that Barely Alive are one of the most exciting and fastest growing bass music acts to emerge over the last year.
The duo originating from Massachusetts, USA initially made a name for themselves when they released their debut EP through Disciple Recordings in early 2014 to global acclaim, hitting the number one spot across 4 different genre charts on Beatport in just 24 hours. This made Barely Alive an over night success, and to this date they have been labelled just under Skrillex as the second hottest dubstep artists of 2014 on Beatport.
International touring soon followed across the United States, Europe and the rest of the world, with Barely Alive making up one of the core artists of the Disciple Alliance tours, the Datsik Ninja Nation tour along side Trolley Snatcha and Kennedy Jones, and multiple headline tours in Australia, New Zealand, France and more. They have received regular DJ support from acts such as Skrillex, Datsik, Excision, Far Too Loud and Zomboy, as well as making regular appearances on huge online music platforms such as UKF, EDM.com, NEST HQ, This Song Is Sick, and a guest mix for the renowned BBC Radio 1.
This is just the start for Barely Alive, who within their first year at Disciple found themselves well on their way to becoming a future headline act.

In the wake of Nate Merrill a.k.a Eliminate’s break through hit, Snake Bite VIP, 2018 has seen him go from strength to strength. After joining the Disciple exclusive roster, his label debut ‘Walls’ and the following ‘Reload EP’ have become a staple in the festival circuit this year. With support coming in from Skrillex to Flosstradamus to Chainsmokers to NGHTMRE to Excision to Bassnecter to UZ (the list goes on!), you can’t wander too far without hearing Eliminate’s signature sound.
After making an appearance at the prestigious EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, and other festivals such as 515 throughout the summer, he now embarks upon his first AUS/NZ tour. Hailing from Philadelphia, Michael Pipitone, known under the moniker Architekt; Rises from a molten heap of metal, hardcore and furious bass. His origin began behind the drum-kit, playing the backbeat for various heavy metal/hardcore acts in the the mid 2000s era. He emerged from this scene, driven by a newfound love for electronic music, gravitating towards dubstep & heavy bass production. His formative years were marked with successful performances at various festivals & venues, supporting some of the largest names bass music. Architekt continues to deliver punishing productions, marked by his signature sound of monstrous growls, compelling sound design, chugging machine guns, & haunting soundscapes. His releases have been showcased on Impossible Records as well as UltraG, & Crowsnest. As his following grows, Architekt shows no signs of backing down from cranking out innovative, otherworldly masterpieces. With his energetic, yet foreboding original sound, undoubtedly, Architekt will soon be captivating the likes of bass heads around the world for his extraordinary musical endeavors.
