BLAQK AUDIO is the electronic alter ego of AFI’s DAVEY HAVOK and JADE PUGET. The duo’s debut album, Cexcells (2007), boasted a No 1. Position on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart, along with Bright Black Heaven (2012) and Material (2016). Six studio albums later, it’s evident that Blaqk Audio’s catalog is DNA-distinct; fusing 90s-era electropop with intricately decorated 80s synths. The end result is a modern, musical thrill ride that is dark, entrancing, and dramatic – all at once.
